bach intermediate trumpet
is the bach tr500s trumpet a good instrument?
i read one review where the writer said he/she bought one and the solder dissolved leaked into the instrument. i was wondering if that was a freak occurrence or if it is just not a good horn. also, is this considered an ADVANCED or an INTERMEDIATE horn, Because i am in marching band and am 3rd chair out of 14. so i need a good horn (we just don’t have a ton of money to spend on one).
At the price I saw it appears to be a student line, but that doesn’t mean anything bad. Instruments are only good if you like them. I think it was $549, last night I sold a used top of the line Bach Strad for $650 on Ebay, I would suggest you try many different horns, pick the one you like and then watch for them on Ebay. Check pawnshops also, there are plenty of values there.
