Which trombone is better?
I’m just looking at different horns and I’m stuck between Yamaha’s Xeno and Bach’s Stradivarius what horn is better? Which tends to have the better sound? And how can I try them out.
They are both fine instruments, so it’s all down to personal preference. If there’s a music store in your area, call to find out what they have in stock, then make a visit and try a few horns. Another option is to try Woodwind & Brasswind; they have a 10-day instrument trial system, where they will send an instrument for you to test out, then you can either purchase or return.
