For the record, painting a trombone is a bad idea. Besides the obvious that the sound will be effected, the metal will age faster.
You are better off buying a rose brass horn (best sound quality) with an open wrap F attachment. Additionally, if you want some customization, a small engravement near the bottom of the bell doesn’t effect the sound too much.
Price wise… a high quality horn will cost between 1800 and 2500.
