Why did I get in trouble? (Should I have?)?
I got my ponytail taken away during band today. I don’t think it was very fair but this is the situation and tell me what you all think:
I was in band. About 2 kids were messing around and I just happenned to be sitting right next to them. I was bored so I was fidetting with my ponytail. I put in the position to snap it but it was up to a tuba so it was impossible to snap anybody with it. Our band teacher gets all mad and says he has to confiscate it. Everybody who had seen the whole thing (And those who only saw most of it) were all mad and asking why he was taking it. I don’t have a past history of hitting people with rubber-bands or ponytails. It was impossible to be flung and it was impossible to hit anyone.
Now that you know the whole story, should I have gotten in trouble?
Probably not, but it sounds like you were a victim of ‘in the wrong place at the wrong time’, your teacher was probably really frustrated and needed to take it out on someone, lucky you!
