trombone with valves
Opinions on what Trombone I should get?
I’m going to need a new professional trombone within the next couple years for marching/concert band and I need to start saving now. I understand Bach’s and Conn’s etc are THE brands but I have been told Eastman trombones are high quality for the prices and that is currently what I am looking at. Specifically I am looking for an open wrap F trombone with a Thayer valve and the ETB634 seems to fit that perfectly. Opinions on the Eastman brand, bore sizes for marching/concert horns, and dealer preferences are greatly appreciated!
I would recommend a Conn 88hcl. It is open wrapped and has a cl2000 rotor similar to a thayer valve. It also has a rose brass bell that gives it an amazing tone.
